A Few Pics From Last Night

Last night was a great evening.  All six of us RSC guys met over at the other house, we bought a weber grill and we had some steaks to cook.  It was a great meal!  From there we hit the sauce, and the night spiraled downward from there!! hahahahah...Wally our D.D. took us over to JDubs where we continued the fun.  It was a crazy night, I don't have a ton of pictures, but from the few I do have, you can see that we all get along really well.

Warning, you are about too see hairy man-ass!!  Parental Discretion is advised....heheheheehehe.

The night is young...Andy is all about the Kansas U Vs. Kansas St. game.

 Eric prepares the taters...good stuff!!

Andy gives Greg the IRON CLAW.  I have never seen a grown man get tickle tortured to the point of almost peeing his pants!!

Just chilling out by the grill....Wally, Andy, Me, Eric, Mike, and Greg was taking the shot.

Here is Greg, after we got back from the bar he made this mistake of telling us he needed a haircut!  A haircut is exactly what he got!

Doesn't he look good...looked like Billy Ray Cyrus in this picture.

 Just a couple trim ups.

 Sent to locks of love.

 Not your pubes man.

Eric(why his pants are down, I don't know why) on top of Andy, on Top of Wally....wally was our DD and they were showing their appreciation!!

Wally, and the chair are finished!

 Andy is finished!

Don't you always have a hair clipper in your kitchen sink??

There are many more pictures, and video that I have chosen not to share with the general public, the language is a little too much!! hahahahaha, A great group of guys, who are not a afraid to let loose and have a good time.

Lazy Monday

Just thought I would throw up a few pictures from around the house tonight.

Here is a batch of corn chowder being made by Mike...that is tomorrows supper, it will be in the crock pot waiting for us all day.

Here is what I made for dinner tonight, simple spaghetti and garlic toast....I must admit, the boys said it was the best they had in a long time.

We officially have a dinner table, and a dining area!

We officially have an entertainment center...no longer does the TV sit on my cooler/minnow bucket.  This was a dickies jeans display we stole from the shop, works great!

Pictures from the Road

Today our truck driver and I headed out to Parshall to deliver a small piece of equipment to a new oil rig site. Parshall is the town that the new reality show "Boom Town" is being filmed in.  The show comes out later this month, kind of cool to be right in the mix.

On our journeys we took a few pictures and videos of the landscape, oil rigs, and not so fortunate semi drivers.

Here is an oil rig up close.

 Another View

The bridge over Lake Sakakawea
This is a picture of the drilling rig they use to drill down thousands of feet to the oil.  Once they reach the oil, the rig is then installed to what you saw above.

This poor guy must still be cleaning out his pants.  Must have been there at least a day.  The picture does not really show just how far down the ditch was...crazy!!

Here is an oil rig in action.

Here is the same oil rig...please forgive my stupidity with turning the camera the wrong direction, but you still get the point.

This is a video I was planning on taking to show the snow blowing over the road, then we came around the corner and came upon a truck that had just tipped over.  Unfortunately he was loaded, and was leaking crude oil all over the place.  Right place at the right time!

Not sure what I am going to do tomorrow, but I am sure I will find something to do.

A Few Pictures

I thought I would post a few pictures that I have taken on the way up, of the area, and of the house.  Nothing much, but its something.  I think this weekend I am going to hop in the truck and really get out and check out the whole area, I will be sure to take more pictures.

This conveyor system crossed over hwy 2 between Bismarck and Minot...not sure what it moves, but it was huge.

Here is the front of our palace.

 Side View

On Sunday my boss handed us his company credit card and told us to head to wal-mart and get whatever we needed.  Here is about a thousand dollars worth of stuff.  Flat screen, microwave, pots&pans, dishes, coffee pot, etc etc etc.  It is nice to have the support and the ability to be comfortable and have it all paid for.  Anytime we need something we forgot about, out comes the card and we go get it...its nice!!

The living room...its actually very bit, much more of it to the left.  Acutally, where the couch is in this picture is where we now have the dining room table.  We also have a couple of recliners, its very comfy.

Here is the kitchen..it too is rather spacious.

Part of my bedroom, also rather large.

All of the cardboard waiting to get taken out....I will be knocking this down and hauling it away this weekend.

There, you have taken the nickel tour...more pictures will be taken and posted in the future.

Westbound!!!

I thought I would post a few pictures of day one of my trip out west.  I was able to leave at seven this morning, and arrive here at the La Quinta in Bismark ND by 6 p.m.    Not much for pictures, but the weather did make the trip interesting.

All loaded up and ready to roll....I must admit, it was much harder to leave everything I knew behind.  I was not expecting the emotional rollercoaster!  Its all good.

Central Command.

The Sirius Satellite radio is crucial to my traveling sanity.  There is nothing I hate more than searching for new stations as you lose them...this solves that problem, plus no commercials!

I made it From Ripon to Minnesota in 3.5 hours, and was past the Twin Cities in 4.  I made good time!

This was my view through all of Minnesota, and most of North Dakota.  It looks kind of bad, but the pavement was dry underneath...still had the cruise pinned at 80.(speed limit of 75 in ND, nice!)

Crossed into ND around 3 p.m.

 Whoops!

That was just a few of the pictures I took today...I got pictures of about 5 of the maybe 10 cars I saw in the ditches and median.  Taking the weather into consideration, I think I made excellent time!

When I arrived here in Bismark, I checked in and decided to go have some dinner.  I was sitting at the bar at Applebee's striking up a conversation with another couple, telling them about where I was headed, and that it was for work.  All of a sudden I get a tap on my shoulder and a gentleman asks me if my name is Kevin???? I said uhhhhhhhhm yeah....how did you know that??  He said my wife overheard you talking about moving to Williston for a few months for work, and said I think that is your new guy from Wisconsin.  The guy turned out to be my new boss!!! The odds of us bumping into each other like that have to be outrageous.  I mean, an applebee's three hours away at the same time like that, both sitting at the bar.  Crazy!  Super nice guy, I look forward to working with him!

Tomorrow I have only a short drive to get to Williston.

Until then, have a great weekend...GO PACKERS!!!
